TWO TEENAGERS DIED IN FIREWALL COLLAPSED

MANILA - Two teenagers died after a firewall collapsed under heavy rain and smashed several houses in Manila on Saturday.
The victims, 16-year-old Arjhelyn Joyce and 14-year-old Mary Hope ViriƱa, expired at the hospital. Initial investigation showed they were not immediately pulled out of the rubble due to bad weather.
Thirty-five-year-old Arnold Gomez was wounded and brought to the hospital for treatment. Another man, 35-year-old Rommel Idio, was pulled out from the rubble after he waved his hand to rescuers.
The wall collapse on Oroqueta Street damaged the houses of seven families, who were moved to a nearby evacuation center, authorities said.
