MANILA - To support the campaign against pollution, the Manila City government build a free charging stations for electric tricycles (e-trikes) to be launched in the city in September.
Manila Mayor Joseph "Erap" Estrada coordinated with Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) for the construction of charging stations for free to use by e-trike drivers in the city.
The E-trike project is scheduled to launch on September 15, where 384 e-trikes are distributed to tricycle drivers that will be owned by them within five years period, through the "boundary - premium".
