MARIKINA RIVER FLOODED UP ALERT LEVEL 4 - FAMILIES EVACUATE

MARIKINA - The City government has ordered a forced evacuation of residents along the Tumana River as flooded of water reaches to critical level. Heavy rains are expected to continue as low pressure area spotted near Batanes is enhancing the Southwest monsoon. Mayor Teodoro identified the other critical areas in Malanday and the Providence village.

Earlier, La Mesa dam also raised red alert due to water level increase.

e-TRIKE PROJECT OF MANILA WITH FREE CHARGING STATIONS

MANILA - To support the campaign against pollution, the Manila City government build a free charging stations for electric tricycles (e-trikes) to be launched in the city in September. Manila Mayor Joseph "Erap" Estrada coordinated with Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) for the construction of charging stations for free to use by e-trike drivers in the city.
