DOLE or Dept of Labor ENDING on "endo"

Initiated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), business establishments and employers groups of Luzon , Visayas and Mindanao to dissolve the mandatory contractualization or "endo".

According to Labor and Employment Silvestre H. Bello III, he assured President Rodrigo Duterte to do all stakeholders to convince the employers across the country to comply with the wishes of the administration .

"We have started holding dialogues with major industry players in the National Capital Region. The establishments, such as malls, food chains, and hotel industries, have big roles to play in ensuring that 'endo' or illegitimate outsourcing is eliminated," said Bello.

He said last week made DOLE Technical Working Group (TWG ) a dialogue with the Philippine Association of Service Contractors Legitimate (PALSCON) in Luzon as well as the contractors and sub -contractors in the Visayas and Mindanao.
