Badjao Girl, Victim of Bullying and Discrimination?

A massive object to the call of Albay 2nd District Representative Rep. Joey Salceda, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) jokes about other PBB housemate to Badjao Girl Rita Gaviola.

It stemmed from an episode in which while Rita washing the plates, the other housemates are busy 'playing' in her underwear to cause upset, crying and pique the 13-year-old Rita.

Although, it made its way by Big Brother and arrange involved, but in the opinion of Cong. Joey, this is still a form of racism, discrimination and bullying bookmarking not to be done especially in a show that many are watching and believe what they are seeing.

Being part of Rita called indigenous groups, gender and the minor being the three main reasons why they considered calling the meeting.

We are also grateful to Cong. Salceda for bringing his concerns to the public and the proper authorities.

While we still have to hear from the DSWD and NCIP, but MTRCB immediately gave them the resolution of the problem.

Pretentious, isn't it?
