Ronnie Dayan to be a 'friendly witness' in Congress probe: General Bato

MANILA – Philippine National Police chief Ronald dela Rosa on Tuesday said Ronnie Dayan, the former driver and alleged bagman of Senator Leila de Lima, has promised to become a “friendly witness” in the House probe into the alleged proliferation of illegal drugs at the New Bilibid Prison.
Dela Rosa said Dayan was “arrested” in San Juan, La Union before noon today following a “literal chase” with Pangasinan and La Union cops.
“Matagal ito na operation dahil nagtago siya ng husto, nasa bundok siya nagtago, parang close to ermitanyo,” Dela Rosa said.
“All the while we were looking for him, siya ay nagtago sa Sitio Bato, Barangay Lacong, San Gabriel, La Union."
Dayan has been accused of receiving drug money from high-profile Bilibid inmates. The money was supposedly used for De Lima’s 2016 senatorial campaign.
De Lima has denied coddling Bilibid drug lords and dared the government to just file cases against her instead of making a drama out of her life.
De Lima has admitted having a relationship with Dayan but insisted that she had no knowledge of allegations that Dayan received money for her.

Ronnie Dayan, Senator Leila de Lima's alleged bagman and former driver, admitted on Tuesday that he had a seven-year affair with the former justice secretary.
"Totoo po may relasyon kami, seven years," Dayan told reporters in Camp Crame in Quezon City.
Dayan was presented to the media on Tuesday after authorities arrested him in La Union. He has been accused of receiving drug money from Bilibid inmates meant for De Lima's 2016 senatorial campaign.

De Lima last week admitted her past romantic affair with Dayan, but maintained that she never accepted drug payoffs.

She said the relationship lasted for a “few years” and that Dayan had long been separated from his wife. She said she broke up with him before she ran for senator.

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre said Dayan's capture will "tie up the loose ends and supply the missing links" in the cases filed before his department.

It stemmed from an episode in which while Rita washing the plates, the other housemates are busy 'playing' in her underwear to cause upset, crying and pique the 13-year-old Rita. Although, it made its way by Big Brother and arrange involved, but in the opinion of Cong. Joey, this is still a form of racism, discrimination and bullying bookmarking not to be done especially in a show that many are watching and believe what they are seeing. Being part of Rita called indigenous groups, gender and the minor being the three main reasons why they considered calling the meeting. We are also gratefu
