e-TRIKE PROJECT OF MANILA WITH FREE CHARGING STATIONS

MANILA - To support the campaign against pollution, the Manila City government build a free charging stations for electric tricycles (e-trikes) to be launched in the city in September. Manila Mayor Joseph "Erap" Estrada coordinated with Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) for the construction of charging stations for free to use by e-trike drivers in the city. The E-trike project is scheduled to launch on September 15, where 384 e-trikes are distributed to tricycle drivers that will be owned by them within five years period, through the "boundary - premium".

Dies Aged 81 - Actor Kenny Baker, Star Wars' R2-D2

LONDON UK - Kenny Baker, the British actor who starring as plucky robot R2 D2 in the Star Wars movies, died last Saturday at the age of 81, his agent and relatives said (source: ABS-CBNNews) .
