Brownlee NAILS Buzzer-Beater as Ginebra Wins title - 2016 PBA CHAMPION!

After a back and forth and cerebral chess match down the stretch, coach Tim Cone had the final laugh. Super Typhoon Lawin: Will Landfall at Cagayan, Isabela

Lawin (Haima) strengthens into a super typhoon and threatens to bring destruction. MANILA, Philippines – Typhoon Lawin (Haima) intensified into a super typhoon early Wednesday afternoon, October 19, posing a serious threat to the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela. The two provinces are now under signal number 5 – the highest tropical cyclone warning signal. In its bulletin issued 2 pm on Wednesday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Lawin now has maximum winds of up to 225 kilometers per hour (km/h) and gustiness of up to 315 km/h. Given its massive strength, Lawin is threatening to bring destructive floods and landslides. Moderate to heavy rain is expected within its 800-km diameter. President Duterte Visits Filipino Community at Brunei Darussalam

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received a warm welcome from the Filipino community in Brunei Darussalam during a get together held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex at Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital city of Brunei. As the President entered the indoor stadium, the audience, composed of approximately 7,000 Filipinos living and working in Brunei, cheered for the President and the accompanying members of his delegation. President Duterte greeted the audience with his signature bow. Two young Filipino sisters who won singing competitions in the United States of America (USA) and are currently living in Brunei sang Filipino songs for President Duterte.
